We train and mentor grants administrators to enable them successfully manage grant awards and better understand funding agency policies and guidelines. Training is offered through monthly lunchtime seminars and resources posted on the webpage. We offer mentorship through assigning mentors to junior grants administrators and providing placements at IDRC where possible. We offer grants administration resources including funding opportunity announcements, responses to frequently asked questions and a regular forum for consultation on grants management policies, innovations, challenges and opportunities. opportunities in research administration are shared. Our target audience includes all personnel involved in the management of grant awards including: Grants Managers, Finance Managers, Accountants, Administrators, Human Resource Officers, Procurement staff, Regulatory Staff, Project Coordinators and Principal Investigators.
